What Are Tilt-Turn Windows?
Tilt-turn windows feature a dual-action mechanism controlled by a single handle. Turn the handle one way and the window tilts inward from the top for ventilation. Turn it further and the entire sash swings inward like a door.
Two Modes of Operation
- Tilt mode: Top of window tilts inward 4-6 inches. Provides ventilation while maintaining security and weather protection. Rain stays out.
- Turn mode: Entire window swings inward on side hinges. Full opening for maximum ventilation or easy cleaning from inside.
Benefits of Tilt-Turn Windows

- Superior air seal: Multi-point locking compresses seal all around
- Easy cleaning: Swing fully inward to clean exterior from inside
